Have you ever come across a home that is so inherently you that you can’t help but fall madly in love with it? The gorgeous Seattle abode that I’m sharing in today’s bohemian home tour is that property for me. I could pack up my belongings, move right in and be totally and completely comfortable in this carefree, gorgeously appointed home. I’ll venture a guess that you might all agree with me after viewing the rest of it. It’s hard not to fall head over heels in love with this one.
With the weather across the greater United States hovering around an officially frigid level, I can’t help but have cozy cold weather getaways on my mind. As you’ll soon see, there are none quite as idyllic as the perfectly appointed mountain home tour I’m sharing with you today.
When design house Studio McGee was tasked with bringing their cool and minimalist aesthetic to this rustic and masculine home, they were initially stumped on how to proceed with a project so far removed from their traditional design norm. Fortunately, it didn’t take long for them to find a happy marriage between the two seemingly contrasting styles, ultimately leading to an end result that is nothing short of livable and sophisticated brilliance.
Summer is drawing swiftly to a close and I don’t know about you all, but I’m in need of a summer break from my summer break. I want some time to move at a slower pace, some time to renew and relax, and some time to soak up the last of the summer sun. I can’t think of a better place to do just that than in today’s incredible Greek Isle home tour.
This awe-inspiring home is tucked away in the Aegean Sea on the island of Paros. With the blues of the sky and sea serving as the perfect backdrop, this all white home is an exercise in simplicity and is guaranteed to make all of your serene dreams of the Greek Isles come true.
I told myself I wasn’t going to do it…I wasn’t going to give you two home tours by the same designer back to back. That was until I came across this interior by Maison Hand and just couldn’t help myself. I have officially become
slightly obsessed with the work of this Lyon-based design team and check in on their website at least once a week in hopes of coming across a new home reveal. Yes, I am in fact a complete Maison Hand fan girl.
The first Maison Hand home tour I shared was a study in contradictions. It was classic; no, it was modern! It was open and airy; it was cozy. It was everything my dream apartment would be and more.
This month’s tour offers a very different perspective into their work. You’ll still find large, sparsely furnished, white washed interiors here, but you’ll also find bold, dark and dramatic elements that elevate this space into something really special. Certainly into something worth sharing.
