The end of the year is upon us and, I must confess, I couldn’t be more excited to wrap up 2017 and move into a bright, new 365 days. 2017 has rocked both me and my family to the core and I think we are all ready for a fresh start, symbolic as it may be. With that in mind, I tried to keep my December 2017 playlist upbeat and encouraging to help both you and myself get ready for the new year.

I had a conversation with a dear friend the other day about how the effects of aging are starting to catch up to us. We commiserated about how much less effort it used to take to get out the door in the morning when we were ten years younger, bright eyed with wrinkle free skin. Those were the good old days, weren’t they?
All things considered, I have very much enjoyed entering my thirties and embarking upon the next adventure-filled decade of my life. What’s not to like? I’m happy at home, my career is on track and my life is overflowing with friends, love and puppies. One thing I have not enjoyed, however, are the physical effects of aging, particularly when it comes to the delicate skin around my eyes.
