Thank you for stopping by! My name is Kasie and I founded Musings on Momentum in 2015, fueled by a desire to create an online space that encouraged others to lead the happy, healthy, beautiful lives of their dreams. As a busy post-grad millennial, I recognized a phenomenon in my life several years ago. It was increasingly going in a direction that did not align with my personal values or goals. My life was unnecessarily busy, full of unhealthy habits and people, and it wasn’t feeding me mentally, physically, or emotionally. As I looked around at my fellow millennials, I recognized that I was overwhelmingly not alone in feeling this way. Musings on Momentum was born from that realization, my subsequent desire to create a sense of community, and a drive to help those around me better live the lives of their dreams. Musings on Momentum has been featured in Better Homes & Gardens Online, Apartment Therapy (here and here), Buzz Feed, Huffington Post Australia, and MyDomaine.

I am a born and raised Pacific Northwest girl currently living and loving in Kansas City, Missouri. I have a degree in Communication from the University of Washington which I put to use working in advertising and public relations following graduation. In 2009, life took me to sunny Southern California where I spent the next nine years, eventually falling in love with my husband, getting married, and starting a life there.
After spending several years living in Los Angeles, my husband and I decided to pack up and move on, in search of a more authentic lifestyle that allowed us additional time together to travel the world. After exploring the country and falling in love with Kansas City, Missouri, we purchased a home sight unseen, packed up our two pups, and drove across the country to our new awaiting life. We are happily settling into our gorgeous home and are busy exploring all that Kansas City and the region have to offer.
