Our wedding day of October 23, 2015 was a day that was special beyond words for my husband and I, as well as for our parents. I personally felt even deeper levels of emotion than I anticipated along with a certainty that I was absolutely marrying the person I was intended to. I had searched for that conviction for my entire adult life and to be presented with it on our wedding day was the greatest gift I could possibly receive.
We had some non-traditional elements to the day such as the fact that my husband came over before we left for our ceremony to spend time with me and my parents. I am so thankful I was able to convince him to come over pre-wedding because it really helped put me at ease to have my best friend by my side as we got ready for our day together. It also gave him the opportunity to get some photos of all of our wedding preparations.
My mom and dad were also busy snapping away on their iPhones en route to and during the ceremony so we ended up with a lot of candid photos that captured some truly beautiful moments. There is a bit of a lack of consistency in these photos but I adore each and every one of them because they were taken with love. I will share our professional photos down the road when we receive them but in the meantime wanted to give a sneak peek into our San Francisco City Hall wedding.

I had to have a bridal drink from Starbucks. I am a Seattle girl at heart after all : ).

Exiting our hotel and looking for our car.

I love the expression on his face as he looks at me. I’m trying my hardest not to cry!

And I love the expression on my face as I look at him here.
