I am starting off my 2019 home tours with a bang by sharing a spectacular home that is positively overflowing with casual sophistication. A study in neutrals, this flawless home seamlessly blends traditional glamour with organic touches to create a perfectly cohesive and unique style all its own.
This striking home is the work of design firm Arent&Pyke. Formed in 2007, the established duo, made up of Juliette Arent and Sarah-Jane Pyke, strive to create an emotional connection between residence and resident in every project they touch. The client on this project was an art curator who longed for a neutral palette able to support a rotating collection for art.
Pared back to a monochrome palette of black and white, the richness of heritage detailing and spatial volumes provide the foundation, while decoration and design details bring movement and a sense of dynamism.”
