Have you ever come across a home that is so inherently you that you can’t help but fall madly in love with it? The gorgeous Seattle abode that I’m sharing in today’s bohemian home tour is that property for me. I could pack up my belongings, move right in and be totally and completely comfortable in this carefree, gorgeously appointed home. I’ll venture a guess that you might all agree with me after viewing the rest of it. It’s hard not to fall head over heels in love with this one.
The home’s formal living room is full of cheery and bright pieces that come together to create a cohesive and livable look.
When the young Seattle family that calls this incredible property home first purchased it, they were confronted with outdated, dark rooms at every turn. With the help of designer Heidi Caillier the family went about giving the home a major overhaul. Beginning with seemingly endless gallons of white paint, the home was initially whitewashed to create an open and uniform feel. Caillier then went about infusing each of the home’s many spaces with a natural and modern bohemian look. The result is nothing short of comfy, cozy, livable magic.
The built-in shelving found in the main living area is a nod to the home’s historic roots.
Fun pops of bright color can be found throughout the space, making it the perfect family home for all ages.
The classic and modern white kitchen would be nothing short of a dream to cook in.
Can’t you just envision yourself eating breakfast in this cozy nook every day?
The kid-friendly upstairs family room is my favorite part of the space. It’s relaxed, sophisticated and caters to all ages.
It’s a rather majestic home, is it not?
