I was first introduced to Valentina Skin Care, a company committed to providing top of the line natural skin care products, a couple of months ago when I had the opportunity to test out their Royal Rose Hydrating Serum. I had excellent experiences both with the product and in my interactions with the company and understandably jumped at the opportunity to work with them again and put their Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum to the test.
While the serum of theirs I have been using is focused on providing a blast of moisture to dry skin, this one addresses controlling and repairing damage. Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum is a blend of botanicals, oils and vitamins combined to create a natural and luxurious product focused on reducing the appearance of wrinkles, evening out skin tone and protecting against environmental damage your skin might suffer.
The first thing you will notice about this product upon application is its scent. It distinctly smells of oranges. I find it natural and pleasant, in fact it reminds me of walking through an orange grove, but if you are sensitive to scent it might bother you.
The second thing you will note is the texture of this serum. It is as light as light can be and quickly absorbs into skin leaving zero residue behind when applied to the face. It is to be applied nightly before your favorite moisturizer and works in conjunction with the skincare products you already use. The main ingredients in this powerful formula are:
Seaweed: Acts as an anti-inflammatory and increases skin’s oxygen consumption aiding in detoxification.
Gotu Kola: Has a long history of promoting healing and helps fade hyperpigmentation.
Lactic Acid: A natural Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that increases cell turnover.
Licorice: An anti-inflammatory that also lightens hyperpigmentation and corrects skin discoloration.
Argan Oil: Provides anti-oxidants, vitamin E and essential fatty acids to protect skin’s resiliency and elasticity.
As far as I’m concerned Valentina Skin Care hit it out of the park once again with this serum. It is yet another light and effective product that miraculously doesn’t irritate my incredibly sensitive skin. I would happily use their products even if they weren’t all natural, but the fact that they are is a huge selling point for me. Finding products that are both safe and effective can be a challenge so I consider myself lucky to have discovered this fabulous line. The Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum will be a permanent addition to my medicine cabinet and undoubtedly help my skin through sunny summer days to come.
