This isn’t my first rodeo. My fiance and I saw the Rolling Stones open their Zip Code tour in San Diego at Petco Park on May 24. Let’s just say that the experience was a huge debacle involving a fake set of tickets, the ultimate purchase of a second set of real tickets that neither of us could afford, the outbreak of Shingles, and other joyous occasions. Despite it being an amazing concert experience, it was a bit of a nightmare.
Fast forward to a couple weeks ago when my fiance found himself debating what to do with a bunch of expiring United Airlines miles. It turns out two round trip flights to Pittsburgh, two field seats for the Stones’ Pittsburgh stop and a hotel room was the answer to the question. So here we are catching separate flights to San Francisco tonight before traveling on to Pittsburgh together on a red-eye for an official “take two”.
We won’t be able to check in to our hotel right away, nor are we sure what we are going to fill our day with, so packing light is a must. Below is the packing list I compiled, all of which fits in a large purse (see below).
Okay, it’s a very heavy large purse, but a purse none the less. This will be my new Dailylook bag’s official debut. The bag itself is gorgeous and an absolute steal but the question remains whether it will be sturdy enough to lug my life around in. If it passes the test it will be joining me in Europe this winter for our honeymoon. Fingers crossed!

The forecast for tomorrow isn’t great. And by not great I mean a high of 86 degrees with scattered showers in the morning and thunder storms in the afternoon. Yes, there is a chance the show will be cancelled due to lightening. I’m trying really hard not to think about this. Due to the combo of heat and precipitation I will be sporting shorts, the white Sticky Fingers tank I purchased at the San Diego show and leather booties. I’m also going to bring a chambray shirt and light rain jacket along for warmth and protection if needed.
Tank not available online, shorts from F21(similar), Sam Edelman booties
So there you have it, I’m off on a somewhat insane 36 hour adventure. Wish me luck…the show and my Shingles need it!
