The classic meets modern Parisian home tour I’m sharing with you today is filling me with the worst kind of wanderlust. One look at the space’s incredible high ceilings, herringbone floors and original embellishments and I’m ready to pack my bags and hop on the first flight to Paris. Who is with me?

There is nothing I love more than a cozy library. This one is the perfect mix of classic bones and modern touches.
This gorgeous apartment is located in the 16th arrondissement in a classic Haussmannian building. Like many of the buildings erected in the mid-19th century, it had not yet been fully renovated and modernized prior to design firm Royal Roulotte stepping in and taking on the project. As you will note, the design house kept many of the gorgeous original features in place while at the same time bringing the space up to date by moving the kitchen and bathrooms to areas more conducive to modern life. With their ambitious redesign, Royal Roulotte successfully created a warm and inviting space free of pretention.

How fabulous is this bold wallpaper? It really makes the piano pop!

This no frills workspace practically screams inspiration.

The modern and functional kitchen is quite a departure from the rest of the apartment. How fabulous is the gorgeous tiled floor?

There is so much to love about this space, in fact, I can’t decide what part of the room I like the best. The fabulous pendants, the vibrant blue banquet or the reclaimed wood table.

The deep walls of the of this bedroom lend to such a cozy mood.
What is your favorite part of this beautiful home? Are there elements you would change?
