The summer is in full swing and I’m seeing tropical influences everywhere I turn. With the summer sun high and the days long, staying healthy and hydrated is more important than ever. That’s where my tropical sunrise smoothie comes in! This quick and easy 5 minute breakfast will make you feel like you’re being whisked off to an exotic destination in no time flat, even if the only thing you actually have to look forward to is your morning commute.

Much like with the recipe I shared for my favorite Immune Boosting Smoothie, I kept the ingredients for this smoothie as straightforward as possible to ensure that it is accessible for everyone.

This smoothie contains:
- Coconut water – provides nutrients and antioxidants
- Pineapple – source of Vitamin C and antioxidants
- Strawberries – high in vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants
- Spinach – rich in vitamins and minerals, aids in detoxification
- Peach Yogurt – source of protein and probiotics
- Ground Flaxseed – provides Omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants

Not only is this smoothie good for you, it’s also ridiculously delicious thanks to all of the fruit that is included. It more than masks the taste of the spinach!

I hope you enjoyed the Tropical Sunrise Smoothie edition of my 5 minute breakfast series. Over the upcoming months, I have a few more recipes coming your way! If you missed my Immune Boosting Smoothie, you can check it out here!
