A Cape Cod Inspired Home Tour

The period directly surrounding the 4th of July always leaves me feeling nostalgic for some good old fashioned Americana influences.  In the last four weeks, I have been caught enthusiastically scrolling through Pinterest in search of red, white, and blue touches.  I have secretly Googled “cape cod interiors” to hunt down that traditional all American look.  Simply put, I have been feeling the spirit of the 4th of July in a way I haven’t for years.  This gorgeous cape cod inspired home tour by Studio McGee honors those classic American influences, while modernizing them with bohemian touches, keeping the patriotic spirit alive all year round.

This stunning Salt Lake City, Utah home was in need of a major overhaul when the design team first set foot in it.  The house was dark and full of outdated features around every turn.  By brightening up the space and bringing in modern furniture and accessories, Studio McGee successfully brought this charming cape cod into the modern era.
