Another Saturday, another DIY. I promised you guys three fun music festival DIYs and I plan on delivering! While I love the way the gold foil bag I shared with you all last week turned out, I’m even happier with the results of today’s DIY. I think these embellished sunglasses are so fun and feminine and absolutely perfect for the festival season! The best part? They are incredibly simple to create!
Sunglasses are my absolute number one festival must-have. Not only do they provide necessary protection against the sun, they also double as a great way to hide the multitude of makeup sins you’re likely to be dealing with by the end of the day at a festival. Inspired by Dolce & Gabbana’s over the top version featured in their Spring/Summer 2016 show (seen here & here), these glasses offer a very subtle and approachable take on the look. For this DIY you will need the following:
MATERIALS
a pair of inexpensive sunglasses
something like a skewer or toothpick to apply glue with
To create your own glasses, begin by planning out where you wish to apply your flowers. Dot E600 on the back of a flower and press it onto your glasses. Hold your flower in place for at least 60 seconds. Repeat steps on each flower until you have achieved your desired look. That’s it! Let your glue set for 24 hours and get ready to channel your inner flower child.
