Growing up, the back to school season was one of my favorite times of the year.  There is just something so intrinsically hopeful about this period.  As the last days of summer fade out and give way to college ruled paper and No. 2 pencils (if kids these days even still use such things), one can’t help but feel a palpable sense of excitement and hope in the air.  The beginning of a new school year signifies many things, among the most important the idea of a fresh start.  The back to school season offers an annual dose of hope to 6-18 year olds, whispering the promise that, “this year will be different.”

Though I have not experienced this August and September magic in nearly a decade, I can’t help but always be won over by this time of year.  Whether you are a child or an adult, what better way to celebrate new beginnings than with some fun back to school finds?  My back to school wishlist is full of items meant to get you excited about this special time of year and will have you reminiscing about those exciting days of childhood in no time flat.
