Whether I like it or not, soccer is an integral part of my life. My husband has worked for US Soccer and Major League Soccer for upwards of a decade and there is simply no escaping the sport (you can find evidence of that fact here, here, and here). While it is obviously a huge blow that the US will not be part of the World Cup this summer, it is not stopping the me and my husband from going all out in terms of supporting our ancestral teams. Regardless of the US’s participation, or lack thereof, my World Cup wishlist is full of items designed to keep you involved and cheering for your home team, even if you have to go back a few generations to find it.
