When I first began our mini bathroom makeover I knew one thing for certain; adding a piece of art to break up the monotony of our four white walls was high on my priority list. Our home has a contemporary and eclectic feel to it and I knew that I wanted to add a bold, graphic print to the bathroom to modernize the space and tie it in with the rest of our place.
Due to the fact that our bathroom is of the generic, builder-grade variety, I wanted the chosen piece to be on the edgy side. I figured a bit of quirky personality was just what the bland space needed. While I know this type of graphic isn’t for everyone, I’m just crazy about the touch of tongue and cheek humor that this DIY art print brings to our bathroom.
I had previously come across “Get Naked” bath mats and they always made me chuckle so I figured what better to hang in our empty bathroom space than those exact words, printed in modern fonts? I whipped up this print in Canva in under ten minutes, printed it on thick cardstock, ordered a frame, and voila! My custom and quirky DIY art print was complete. File this under the easiest DIYs of all time.
The best part of this bathroom DIY project? I am sharing the print that I created with all of you in case you also find that you’re also inclined to add a bit of wit to your homes. For being such a simple project, the DIY art print really does dress up our bathroom and adds the perfect amount of humor to an otherwise humorless space. This little undertaking just goes to show that sometimes the smallest of projects can make the biggest of differences.
