February’s home tour is located a bit closer to home for me than usual. This welcoming and cozy Los Angeles family home is the epitome of classic minimalism mixed with California cool, a blend I personally find absolutely delectable. This is one of those rare homes that I come across that I could move right into and not change a thing. Come to think of it, my husband and I are looking for our next home. I wonder if they have considered moving?

When Hannah Phillips-Kaplan of Repeat+World, an online home decor store, and her husband first moved into their LA home, they kept the concept of “warm minimalism” in mind when making design decisions. Their resulting home is nothing short of casual, cool perfection that I, for one, can not wait to emulate in my next home. Of her decorating philosophy and home, Phillips, Kaplan said,
I believe a well-curated life begins at home, which means lots of food and wine and a warm, cozy atmosphere.
I could not agree with this talented woman more.

What did you think of this classic minimalist home tour? Are there any elements you would like to incorporate in your own home?
