It is a very big day around this corner of the internet. Today, Musings on Momentum turns three years old! I wish more than anything that I could share a toast with each and every one of you to thank you for your never-ending love and support.
Musings on Momentum comes from the simplest of roots. I started this blog in 2015 as a way to stay in touch with my family and friends as I geared up for my wedding and started my life with my husband. I quickly realized that I have a passion for blogging and connecting with individuals from all across the world and became serious about it after just a few months. The last three years have come with their fair share of trials and tribulations, yet the one thing that has remained constant in my life is my passion for this space.
As the years have passed, my life has gone in a direction different than what I envisioned, and it has been a tough pill to swallow at times, something I have not shied away from discussing. When it feels like the cards are stacked against us, and darkness takes over our lives, it can be hard to find beauty and a reason to smile. Through it all, Musings on Momentum and all of you wonderful readers (and now friends!) have helped me see the light during those times of trial. That support has gotten me through some of the most challenging days of my life and I thank every single one of you for reaching out with love and support when I needed it the most.
This year has been one of intense transition for both me and Musings on Momentum. In the last two weeks alone, I have packed up my life in Los Angeles, driven across a good portion of the country, and moved into a new home with my husband. I am writing this post tucked away in my future office in our wonderful new house. Our furniture has not yet arrived, so I am typing on the floor while sitting on a deflated air mattress – oh so glamorous, I know. And yet, even with our house still a mess, I can see the future of Musings in every corner of every room. This new house of ours is becoming the physical embodiment of this space is the most beautiful and satisfying way and I am so looking forward to sharing with you all that is to come!
