Sunny days are here again and nothing says spring and summer quite like a crisp and refreshing rosé. Regardless of what occasion you are celebrating, rosé makes the perfect summertime beverage. This season, with the help of Gallo Winery’s Rosé Your Way, your perfect rosé pairing is just a quick quiz away.

If you have ever stood in the market baffled over which bottle of rosé to bring home, you are not alone. I have been there before and, for that reason, am incredibly excited to introduce you to Rosé Your Way. You can think of Rosé Your Way as your own personal rosé concierge, always available at your fingertips. Simply follow this link to access the Rosé Your Way quiz and, a few moments later, your perfect rosé match will be revealed.

The Rosé Your Way quiz comes in especially handy if, like me, you enjoy rosé in a variety of settings. My husband and I wanted to find the perfect rosé to enjoy on our rooftop at sunset and were matched with Dark Horse Rosé, featuring dry, bright, and crisp notes. The quiz was spot on and Dark Horse Rosé indeed made the ideal pairing for the quick and easy homemade hummus recipe I made for the occasion.

This hummus recipe has become one of my go-to appetizers due to how easy it is to whip up last minute. During the summer, I have been known to eat hummus on a daily basis and frequently turn to this trusty recipe. Thanks to Rosé Your Way I will never have to search out the perfect pairing for my favorite appetizer again.

Is rosé your go-to spring and summertime drink of choice? What is your favorite way to enjoy rosé your way?
- 1 15 ounce can chickpeas
- 1 large lemon - juice of lemon only
- 2 Tbsp tahini
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- 2-3 Tbsp water
- In a food processor or blender, combine lemon juice and tahini for one minute.
- After one minute, scrape sides of food processor or blender, then mix for another 30 seconds to whip the tahini.
- Add olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, and paprika, blending for 30 seconds.
- After 30 seconds, scrape the sides of the food processor or blender, then mix for another 30 seconds.
- Open, drain, and rinse the chickpeas. Add half of the chickpeas to the mixture and blend for one minute.
- After one minute, scrape the sides of the food processor or blender, then mix for another 1-2 minutes.
- Once your hummus is thoroughly mixed, it may be thicker than you'd like. Add in 2-3 Tbsp of water based on preference to get the mixture to your desired consistency.
If you do not like tahini or don't have access to it, you can leave it out and substitute with a bit of extra oil and water.
