So much renovation fun. We are supposed to start moving in on Thursday the 10th…the crew is now working through the weekends.
This past weekend my fiance and I went to HARD Summer, a mostly electronic festival that we have been to several times together. This year it was held quite a ways away from Los Angeles in Pomona and made for a long trek, but one that was well worth it! We met up with old friends, made some new friends, and listened to great music. That said…I’m really glad it’s over! We are SO tired and sore from walking around on cement for hours. In fact, we having a sneaking suspicion that we are getting too old to do this kind of festival without regretting it the next day. We ultimately sold our tickets for Sunday and opted for a relaxing day at home filled with catching up on all the work we missed getting done on Saturday.

This past three day holiday weekend ended up being absolutely wonderful. It was productive, experimental (I tried SO many new recipes that I’ll be featuring in the next couple of weeks) and relaxing. The weather was beautiful, the food delicious and the company great. What more could you ask for? Here are a few captured moments…
