The home tour that I am sharing with you today is, without a doubt, one of my favorites of 2018. Why, you ask? Well, it’s simple. This Brooklyn apartment tour is epitomizes the fact that you can infuse some serious style into your design, regardless of the amount of square footage you have available. It is a chic reminder that a beautiful home can come in all shapes, sizes and styles.
When I first encountered this fashionable Brooklyn townhouse my jaw just about hit the floor. Not only is it flawlessly designed, it also contains enviable prewar features like tall ceilings, crown molding, and floors so perfectly imperfect that you just know they have stories to tell. Suffice it to say, this home tour is a feast for the eyes. So sit back, take a load off, and enjoy this truly stunning Clinton Hill brownstone.
When interior designer Danielle Colding took on the project of the gorgeous Brooklyn duplex featured in this month’s home tour, she had a clean and sophisticated aesthetic in mind. Starting with a neutral palette heavy in white, black, grays, and brass accents, Colding strived to give the home a cohesive feel, all the while ensuring that each room maintained its own unique point of view. The end result to this approach is an elegantly eclectic and contemporary feast for the eyes. With bold prints and textures featured throughout, as well as some major wallpaper moments, I think you’ll agree that today’s luxurious and modern Brooklyn home tour makes a serious case for incorporating ornate and feminine details into an otherwise neutral design.
